Leonie Bickford-Hart   | Practice Manager   Leonie has a wealth of experience in Family Law and enjoys working with clients in various stages of their legal matters.  Although Leonie started her legal career as a Litigator and still enjoys a good argument, she has come to see the advantages and the benefits to families of working together in a different manner - a better way, a more gentle way to do things outside the court environment so that families, especially children, are less impacted by the whole separation and divorce process.  Outside the office Leonie is the mother of 2 adult daughters and the carer of numerous pets- 12 at last count! Shirin Motamedi   | Law Graduate   Shirin is an energetic law graduate, recently graduating from Monash University.   With a degree in journalism, Shirin has a certain way with words and is always up for a good debate.   Recognising the challenges associated with separation and divorce, Shirin is committed to Family Law Life’s philosophy of providing families with a more holistic approach, offering assistance beyond the law.  Shirin has recently channeled her inner George Clooney to master the workings of the office Nespresso machine.  Outside of the office, Shirin enjoys sharing a meal with her friends and family. Tess Robertson   | Law Clerk   Tess is a fun loving arts/law student with a drive to learn how to create the best experiences in the legal system for families.   From her own parents divorce, Tess went through a litigation whirl wind. The process left her passionate to become a lawyer and help families do divorce differently.   Outside of Family Law, Tess is also passionate about changing the experiences of the court process for victims of sexual assault. She has majored in criminology focusing on secondary victimisation and the legal process.   When she isn't busy with us, you will find Tess either spending hours at the law library at Monash University, drinking soy chais, eating breakfast food at any time of the day and cuddling up to her fluffy cat Monty.
